Joined the ITR team in 2017

Lauren Saidel-Baker is an experienced speaker and economist. Through her crucial role at ITR, she provides reliable industry and company forecasts, presentations, webinars, and economic consulting services to small businesses, trade associations, and Fortune 500 companies across a spectrum of industries.

Lauren graduated from Wellesley College with a double major in economics and religion. "I like to say that I'm uniquely qualified to be a door-to-door Bible salesman," she jokes.

Lauren is a CFA charterholder. Before joining the ITR team, she pursued a career in the asset management industry for six years.

Outside of work, Lauren loves to explore the outdoors. You can typically find her mountaineering, hiking, skiing, ice-climbing, and more.

“I love that no two days are the same in this job,” Lauren says. “Every day brings new data to analyze, new questions to answer, and new challenges to solve. And I especially love bringing this analysis to fascinating discussions with our great clients!”
